How to Make a Romantasy Tier List

Start with the Unranked section and drag each series into the tier that best matches your reading experience. Use S for the books you cannot stop thinking about, DNF for books you did not finish, and TBR for titles you have not read yet.

You can rename the tiers to match the way you rank books, search for a specific series, or narrow the list by reading preference. Switch to Individual Books if you would rather rank specific novels instead of entire series.

When your list is finished, download it as an image or copy a share link and compare your rankings with other romantasy readers.

What Should You Rank?

Romance

Did the relationship actually make you care?

Fantasy World

Did the magic, politics, creatures, or setting feel memorable?

Characters

Would you willingly spend another thousand pages with them?

Writing

Did the prose and pacing work for you?

Spice

Was the level right for your preferences?

Ending

Did the series deliver when it mattered?

Rereadability

Would you happily start it again?

Series or Individual Books?

Series mode is best when you want to compare complete reading experiences such as ACOTAR, The Empyrean, Powerless, Caraval, or The Shepherd King.

Individual Books mode is better when your opinion changes dramatically from one installment to another. A series can be an A overall while one particular book belongs in S or DNF.
